Toronto Star: There’s still hope for NHL games in Canada after board signs off on season blueprint. Count me as someone who is looking forward to watching these Canadian teams duke it out this season.  It will have an AHL feel with all these games against each other and I’m excited about that.

Jets video:

TSN: Motivated by being cut last year, Perfetti looks to make impact for Team Canada. “Being cut definitely sucks” Cole Perfetti said in a blunt assessment of his situation with Team Canada last year. Now, solidly a member of the team for the upcoming World Juniors, Perfetti is still motivated by being cut last year and aims to show the Team Canada brass that they made the wrong decision last time around.
