Illegal Curve: Jets goalie prospect Mikhail Berdin’s KHL rights have been traded. Interestingly the release on the official SKA site says this about the deal to come “The goaltender, who has recently returned from North America, will shortly sign a contract with SKA which will run until the end of the 2020/2021 season.” I suspect there would be an out clause negotiated into the deal for whenever the 2020 – 2021 AHL/NHL season begins here in North America.
