The Athletic: NHL offseason priorities: What to expect from all 31 teams. (Paywall). It is almost like folks in the NHL think people in Winnipeg forgot the Teemu Selanne for Chad Kilger, Oleg Tverdovsky and a 3rd rounder trade. Most haven’t. So the idea of trading Laine (something most aren’t advocating for anyway) for pieces aka magic beans isn’t likely very palatable.
