Winnipeg Sun: Jets need to tinker, not trade stars. That headline makes me think of that Simpsons line “we are gonna tinker with your ticker”. Well Jets fans might need a new heart if they think guys like Ehlers or Laine are being dealt. Scott with an insightful and logical article on why the Jets need to keep those types of players (unless the return is a King’s ransom) and look to other places to find a solution.

Illegal Curve: D prospect Leon Gawanke loaned to the Eisbären Polar Bears of the DEL for the start of the 2020-21 season. The Berlin born defenceman will realize a childhood dream when he pulls on the uniform for the team he grew up cheering for. It will also be a good opportunity for him to continue the positive development he began in his rookie season.
