Note II: There is a potential end in sight to the above pause as the NHL and NHLPA announced jointly on Monday that they have reached a tentative agreement on a 4-year CBA extension, a Return to Play agreement and dates for resumption of play.

TSN:  Latest on tentative Return to Play agreement, CBA extension. TSN Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie has the latest on the NHL’s tentative agreement on its Return to Play plan and CBA extension. He also outlines the specific dates the league is targeting for Phase 3 and 4 and how both sides came together to make this work.

TSN:  The ripple effect of home-ice advantage vanishing. The hub city model is going to make the playoffs feel a lot different if the NHL is able to return this summer. Travis Yost has more on the absence of home-ice advantage.

Sportsnet:  NHL’s impending labour peace a huge win amid difficult times.  It certainly makes a lot of sense given the lack of peace we’ve seen around the last few negotiations between the two sides.
