Note III: Since nothing is simple in this COVID world of ours a hub city front runner appears to be out as we were told on Tuesday that Vegas, which seemed to be a lock, is now not in a secure position according to TSN’s Frank Seravalli. Illegal Curve: Ice select Jets draft pick Henri Nikkanen in 2020 CHL Import Draft. He is certainly a Winnipeg draft pick that I thought bore watching last summer and I think it would be a big advantage for the Jets if they could watch him develop here in Winnipeg in the WHL.

Sportsnet: NHL players have concerns about return to play plan. Eric Engels and Chris Johnston address reports that NHL players are more concerned than was initially thought about returning to play.
TSN: Insider Trading: Could both hub cities be in Canada? Bob McKenzie joins Gino Reda to explain what’s holding up the hub city announcement, why there’s potential that both hub cities could be in Canada and how all of this is affecting the Return to Play timeline.
