Winnipeg Sun: NHL removes Winnipeg from list of re-start sites. While the economic impact would be a good one (in theory) for Winnipeg it also would add so many people from so many different spots which really is an opportunity to undue all the hard work Manitobans have done to date.
Global News: Neil Pionk ‘couldn’t be happier’ to play for Winnipeg. The Minnesota kid has certainly fit in fairly easily into the mix.
Winnipeg Free Press: Winnipeg a long shot to be a host city if NHL resumes. (Paywall). Looks like the Central option is about 6.5 hours south east of here.
