Note: It was anything but a standard gameday for the Jets on Tuesday as the news of the day was the trade to acquire Dylan DeMelo from the Senators. Both he and Kevin Cheveldayoff held conference calls which you can listen to here. The game itself didn’t begin the way the team would have liked giving up a quick goal to the Kings but the Class of 2015 tied the game, gave them some life and then the veterans pulled it together for a 6-3 win over L.A. to close out the six-game homestand with a 4-2-0 record. They were scheduled to practice today before they left for Ottawa but will instead head east at some point to start their four-game road trip.
Note II: The Moose spent Tuesday morning traveling to Laval and then held an optional practice later in the afternoon. They will look to get back in the win column tonight when they take on the Rocket. Puck drop is at 6 PM CST.
Note III: Please note today’s links are broken up into sections with general Jets news and game recaps in the first section followed by trade links.
