Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Your source for all the latest Jets and Moose news, video and audio.

Note:  The Jets continued to roll on the road as they won their third game in a row yesterday afternoon with a 3-0 win over the Ducks in Anaheim which was good enough to give them the third best road record in the NHL and has them sitting 2nd in the Central.  It has been quite the November for the Jets as they’ve run their record to 10-2-1 and they will look to close things out tonight against the Kings which will conclude this three-game road trip.  The Jets will hold an optional skate/media availability at 1 PM CT so be sure to check back for the pre-game report.  Puck drop is at 9 pm.

Note II:  The Moose stopped a three-game slide last night in Grand Rapids with a 4-2 win over the Griffins.  The win was the first in the AHL by the appropriately named Griffen Outhouse who made 26 saves for his first ever win in the AHL.  CJ Suess had a pair of goals and Jansen Harkins had two assists which gives him 26 points in 22 games this season which is good enough for second overall in AHL scoring.  Tonight they will play their sixth game of the seven-game road trip when they take on the Wolves in Chicago.  Puck drop is at 7 pm.

Note III:  Tune in for three hours of Winnipeg Jets and NHL hockey talk on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show on TSN 1290 Winnipeg.  We get underway at 9 am.
