It was a special evening at the MTS Centre last night but the Jets are going to have to bottle that magic and ration it well for the remainder of the season. The worst thing they can do is have a let down game against the Hurricanes on Sunday.
Winnipeg Free Press: Tight time ignite Nik. While he might be playing a 4th line role, coach Noel seems to be getting the best out of the enigmatic Antropov. In a press conference last week coach Noel discussed limited ice time and mentioned how you can squeeze a lot more out of someone’s best efforts in 10-12 minutes of ice time rather than giving them 16-18 minutes and not getting same effort.

Winnipeg Sun: Byfuglien comes up big. From his knocking Alex Ovechkin around to his absolute dominance with the puck, this was a complete performance from the Jets big man. Could only imagine where the Jets might be if Buff hadn’t gotten injured for 15+ games this season. His sword thurst move when he scored the Jets 3rd goal was classic.
