Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Note:  Following last night’s huge 5-1 win in Nashville against the Predators the Jets are next in Texas to conclude the pre Player & All-Star breaks.  Today they are off.  They’ll be back on the ice at 10:30 AM for morning skate on Saturday in Dallas.

Note II:  The Moose are back on the ice today at 10:30 am as they get ready for a pair of games this weekend against the Rampage this weekend to close out the six-game series at Bell MTS Place.  Saturday’s contest is Grassroots Hockey Day (which will include a Mason Appleton mini bobblehead giveaway to first 3000 fans) and Sunday is the always fun Star Wars Day in support of Children’s Wish Foundation.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets fourth-liners come through in convincing road win over arch-rival Predators.  Ted recaps all the action from his spot inside Bridgestone Arena.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Goaltending, secondary scoring power Jets past Preds 5-1.  (Paywall).  All the things that the Jets were looking for they got in this contest.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Connor capitalizing on top-line opportunity.  (Paywall).  Given a chance to elevate his game the smooth skating forward is continuing to improve each and every game.
