Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Your source for all the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news and audio.

Note:  Some Jets took to the ice on Monday for an optional practice although a large number of players (9) spoke following the skate as well as coach Maurice.  Today they conclude a three-game series against the team which knocked them out of the playoffs last season.  The game against the Golden Knights will be the final home contest for just over two weeks.  The Jets AM skate gets underway at 10:30 AM and the pre-game report will bring you up to speed with the latest news and audio.  Puck drop is at 7 pm.

Note II:  The AHL affiliate continues to chug along as the Moose, who are getting healthier every day, have put together a good little run of late going 3-0-0-1 in their last four games which includes consecutive 3rd period comebacks.  We witnessed one last night when Jansen Harkins scored his eighth goal of the season to tie the game, Eric Comrie was sensational for the most part and Seth Griffith scored a nifty OT winner as Manitoba kicked off the first of 16 straight against the Central Division.  While they are far back of the playoff race they do have games in hand on the teams ahead of them so they will have to keep winning in order to try to force their way back into the race.
