Note: The Jets are riding right now having won six of their last seven games including last night’s 6-3 win over division rival Chicago. While they are still looking to build up their consistency they have a 19-9-2 record which is good enough for 2nd in the Central (holding a game in hand on Nashville). They will end the four-game home stand tomorrow night against the Oilers but today they will focus on practice which gets underway at 12 noon. Be sure to check out the Jets Practice Report for the latest news and audio.
Note II: The Moose practiced on Tuesday as they get ready to face the defending Calder Cup champion Marlies here this weekend, which includes the always fun (and worthwhile) Teddy Bear Toss on Saturday, which is close to sold out. I spoke to coach Vincent who provided a health update on the laundry list of players out due to injury. Manitoba is set to play six straight at Bell MTS Place. They won’t practice today but instead will head to the Siloam Mission to volunteer in the kitchen.
Note III: Tune in for two hours of Winnipeg Jets and NHL talk on NHL This Week tonight at 7 pm on TSN 1290 Winnipeg.
