Note:  It has been a long five days since the Jets last played a game but today they are back in game day mode as they kick off the Global Series with the Florida Panthers.  It was a busy day of practice on Wednesday and the Jets pre-game report will get you ready for today’s game with a 1 pm central time for puck drop in Helsinki.

Note II:  The Moose will practice today as they get ready to face the Chicago Wolves twice this weekend starting with a game tomorrow night at Bell MTS Place.

TSN: Laine lands on the Jets’ third line. Patrik Laine has no even-strength goals so far this season and will find himself on the Jets’ third line when they drop the puck in Helsinki on Thursday. But Paul Maurice believes there’s some upside to having him play with two defensive minded forwards. Sara Orlesky explains.

TSN: Jets adjusting to time difference ahead of showdown with Panthers. As the Jets continue their stay in Finland, many of the players say that they are still trying to adjust to the time difference as they try and get back into their routines ahead of their two games against the Panthers.
