Note: If you turned off the game with less than five minutes to go in the 3rd period (although I’d question why you would do that) then you may have missed the Jets give up two goals in 26 seconds which ultimately cost them the game with the Leafs on Saturday night. The team left immediately after the game to head to Finland. They’ve got two games against the Panthers later this week.
Note II: The Jets recalled Tucker Poolman on Saturday to augment the roster ahead of the Finland trip and will bring goalie Eric Comrie along as a non-roster player.
Note III: The Moose continue to struggle on the road as they lost 4-1 which drops their record to 3-4 on the season. Skylar Mckenzie did manage to score his first regular season pro goal (as he had scored in his first pro game which was in the playoffs for Manitoba and which was also the game winner). No rest for the squad as they play Rockford today at 4 pm. Perhaps Mikhail Berdin (Jets 2016 6th rounder) will get his first AHL start after Ken Appleby got the call last night in Milwaukee.
