Note:  Today is the day (starting at 8 AM according to Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun) that the Jets and Trouba’s side present their case to the arbitrator in Toronto to hash out details of the defenceman’s next contract. Via CapFriendly “Player & club can still settle at any point prior to the official ruling, however once the hearing has taken place, the arbitrators decision must be issued by email within 48hrs of its closing.”.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Adam Lowry. Jets sign centre Adam Lowry to new three-year deal.  (Paywall).  It wasn’t the deal folks expected to be announced on Thursday as the Jets locked up their big centre for another three years.
