Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news.

Note:  The Jets are back in action and all eyes are gonna be on morning skate with respect to the status of Mark Scheifele who left the Jets game on Tuesday night in the 2nd period after he collided with Blake Wheeler in the 1st.  Darren Dreger of TSN suggested last night that the early indications are the injury isn’t serious.   Tonight is the third game of the six-game road trip with the Jets taking on the Devils in Newark as New Jersey tries to hold onto their wild card spot in the eastern conference.  The team will have a morning skate at 10:30 am central standard time and the Jets pre-game report will set you up as the team prepares for a 6 pm puck drop.  Stay tuned throughout the day for any and all Jets news and updates via Twitter | Facebook | Instagram.

Note II:  After fighting back from a 2-0 deficit the Moose ultimately fell short and lost 3-2 in a shootout yesterday morning in Milwaukee to the Admirals to kick off this seven game road trip.  The Moose are staying in Wisconsin to practice today and are scheduled to hit the ice at 12:30 pm UWM Panther Arena.  They will have a couple of days to practice as they prepare for a huge game against a Wolves team in Chicago that is hot on their heels and looks to challenge the Moose for top spot in the central.
