Note: It was a wild Trade Deadline Day across the NHL although the focus for folks here was on the Jets acquisition of Paul Stastny and Joe Morrow, deals which Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff spoke about at length. Of course with all the madness and speculation of the Trade Deadline there was still plenty of news as the Jets prepared for today’s matchup with the Predators and the Jets Practice Report will bring you right up to speed. The team will have a morning skate at 10:30 am as they prepare to face their division rival at 7 pm. Note II: The Moose are back in action today as they will prepare for a couple of games this weekend against the Wild to close out this eight-game home stand. The team got good news yesterday when the parent club assigned Nic Petan and Tucker Poolman back to Manitoba. Today they will practice at 10 am out at the IcePlex.
