Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news.

Note:  The Jets are back in action this afternoon in Calgary as they look to kick off the post five-day break by putting an end to their losing streak which sits at two games.  Despite being off for five days the team sits in the second spot in the central division just a point back of first (although Nashville has two games in hand).  They face a Flames team that is also coming off their five-day break but previous to same had won seven straight games.  The Winnipeg Jets pre-game report will have you up to date at 10:30 am.  You can also stay tuned via Twitter | Facebook | Instagram.

Note II:  The Moose are looking for revenge after a 4-0 loss on Friday night to these Texas Stars at Bell MTS Place.  It was a loss not just on the scoreboard but potentially when it comes to the lineup as the team was down to nine healthy forwards when the final buzzer sounded.  We could see a return of some players if the team recalls Jansen Harkins from the Icemen a bit earlier than originally planned.

Note III:  With an early afternoon puck drop between the Jets and Flames we are kicking off today’s Illegal Curve Hockey Show at 8 am on TSN 1290 Winnipeg.  To listen click here.
