Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news.

Note: The Jets have gone 1-0-1 on this road trip after they dropped last night’s game 2-1 in a shootout in Boston.  They are in New York to face the Islanders in a 12 noon contest on Saturday to wrap up the pre-Christmas schedule.  The team is scheduled to practice today in New Jersey at 1 pm CST and we will bring you the latest with our Practice Report.  Stay tuned.

Note II:  The Moose are on one of the craziest runs I’ve ever seen.  The team hasn’t lost in regulation in over 15 games after last night’s 7-2 win over the Rampage.   In their last 20 games the Moose are 18-1-0-1 with the 7-2 win over the Rampage including points in 15 straight (14-0-0-1) in which, according to the AHL, they have outscored their opponents 72-25.  They finish off the pre-holiday schedule tonight at 7 pm in a re-match with the Rampage.

Note III:  Please note that tomorrow’s Illegal Curve Hockey Show on TSN 1290 Winnipeg starts at 7 am and will run for two hours due to the Jets game kicking off at 12 noon.
