Note:  Both the Jets and Moose are done in terms of team availability following yesterday’s end of season media session with the Moose.  But with the upcoming expansion draft as well as the Entry Draft in Chicago at the end of June we will have plenty of fresh content as well as reflections on the 2016-17 seasons of both the Jets and Moose.

Moose news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Team battled to the finish.  (Paywall).  Quite literally in this case as the team played spoiler against the defending champs in Cleveland.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Moose season’s success not entirely measured by win-loss record.  (Paywall).  Plenty of prospect development which is the mantra of the organization.

Global News:  End of season tough for Manitoba Moose veterans.  It isn’t easy as the seasons pass you by and you keep missing the playoffs.  There were certainly some gains by the young players.

Global News:  Darren Kramer handed 3 game suspension.  While he won’t like having to sit for three games next season you got the sense that his teammates appreciated the effort that he put forth in the defence of Patrice Cormier.
