Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news.

Note:  The Moose looked like they were going to continue their winning ways but they gave up four straight goals in the 2nd period and despite tying it up fell 5-4 last night in Cleveland.  On the positive front Kyle Connor scored his 24th goal and recently signed Jansen Harkins scored two goals.  The final Moose game of the season goes tonight in a re-match against the Monsters.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Golf season for Jets, hunting season for Chevy.  (Paywall).  Former NHLer turned scribe Scott pens this piece detailing the highs and lows of the season and how things shape up with the club heading into the fall.

TSN:  Jets 3-in-3: Year in review.  (Video).  Will the Jets protect four forwards and four defencemen? What does the future hold for Jacob Trouba? Who will open next season as Connor Hellebuyck’s partner in the crease? Gary Lawless and Sara Orlesky have more.

Illegal Curve:  Bryan Little wants to be part of the Winnipeg Jets future.  And I suspect most folks around these parts want to see #18 back in the fold for a few more seasons after the 2017-18 one.

Moose news:

Official Manitoba site:  JC Lipon and Jansen Harkins had big games, but Cleveland took the 5-4 win.  A recap of last night’s action including a game story and quick hits.
