Note:  The Jets start their week off with a 12 noon practice at the MTS Centre today as they get ready to face the Flyers tomorrow night.

Note II:  The Moose are off today after a busy weekend which saw them split a series with the IceHogs and then had a practice on Sunday at Kirkfield Westwood Community Centre.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun:  Morrissey, Hutchinson come through.  The rookie and not often used backup were both integral to yesterday’s win.  Ken breaks it all down.

Winnipeg Sun:  Strait makes positive contribution with Jets.  Had to be nice to make the jump from the AHL to the NHL for the veteran defenceman and to contribute on the game winning goal.

Globe and Mail:  Josh Morrissey scores late, Jets hold on to beat Wild after blowing lead.  The rookie has been earning some tremendous praise from his coach as well as his fellow players, including captain Blake Wheeler who was effusive in his praise of the rookie defender.
