Latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news.

Note: The final day of the Jets bye week as the team will hit the ice on Monday for their first practice in awhile.  The Wild are here to play at the MTS Centre on Tuesday night.

Note II:  Yesterday almost 7000 fans sat inside the MTS Centre and ended up seeing Eric Comrie put on a goalie clinic in the 1st period (21 saves) and Kyle Connor scoring the first hat trick at the MTS Centre for the Moose 2.0.  The fun continues as these two teams will renew hostilities at 2 pm this afternoon where there are over 13,000 fans expected to be in attendance.   Be sure to keep it locked illegalcurve.com for our post game report and be sure to follow us on social media including Twitter | Facebook | Instagram.

Jets news:

Ottawa Sun:  Last-minute NHL deals to be expected.  Not a huge Jets nugget but Bruce has Winnipeg in the group of teams that will be a team with assets looking to deal.

Winnipeg Sun:  Roslovic rises to top of Jets’ prospect list.  Ken goes through his list of the top 20 prospects in the organization.  And as you will read below the player who finished number two on his list had quite the game last night.

Moose news:

Illegal Curve: Comrie’s 37 saves and a Connor hat trick lead Moose to 4-2 win over Rampage.  Eric Comrie was sensational in net and Kyle Connor scored a hat trick (first one for the Moose 2.0 at the MTS Centre). Post-game audio Eric Comrie, Kyle Connor and Coach Vincent.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Connor, Comrie cool in face of Rampage.  (Paywall).  It was a first period that the team would like back with the exception of the strong play of goalie Eric Comrie.  Mike breaks it all down.
