Note:  The Jets didn’t have long to enjoy the win over the Lightning as they had to jet over to Sunrise as they face a Panthers team tonight that hasn’t played since beating the Stars on New Years Eve in Dallas.  Both teams need the two points to continue their respective push for a playoff spot.  As always be sure to keep it locked to for pre and post game news and on social media including via Twitter | Facebook | Instagram.

Jets news:

TSN:  Statistically Speaking – Ehlers and Laine lead Jets.  Leads off with some info on the Jets dymanic duo of and includes talk about Scheifele, Trouba and Wheeler in the short shifts section.

Winnipeg Sun:  Five keys to Jets vs. Panthers.  Ken gets you set for tonight’s game against Florida which includes: 1) Keeping Fresh. 2) No power outages. 3) On the flip side. 4) Contain Jagr. 5) Make it tough for Luongo. Ken’s big matchup is Mark Scheifele vs Aaron Ekblad.

Winnipeg Sun:  Hellebuyck becoming the bounce-back kid for Jets.  With all the panic in the air the Jets young netminder was able to continue to show that he can be resilient following a loss.

Moose news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Pavelec key in Moose victory.  (Paywall).  The veteran goalie was excellent in his second straight game for Manitoba.  Mike recaps the game.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Which line will step as top trio for Moose?  (Paywall).  When you look down at the Moose lines it is difficult to pinpoint which line is just that as coach Vincent has spread out the talent.  Of course when Jack Roslovic returns I suspect whatever line he and Kyle Connor are on will become the Moose top line but until then it is open for discussion.
