Note II:  The Moose have a re-match with Wild tonight at 7 pm.  I think it may be the first time both the Jets and Moose play the Wild and Wild on the same evening (fun fact).

Pioneer Press:  Is Patrick Laine the next Alex Ovechkin? Bruce Boudreau sees similarities.  Jets fans certainly hope the Wild coach is right in his assessment.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets set to show what they are made of.  These next two games against tough central division opponents can have a major impact on the season, especially as we inch closer and closer to that U.S. Thanksgiving holiday.

Winnipeg Sun:  Five keys to Jets vs. Wild.  Ken’s keys include 1) Energy restored? 2) Laine looks to break out. 3) Reinforcements on the way. 4) Dubnyk returns to form. 5) Staal’s resurgence. And his big matchup is Blake Wheeler vs. Zach Parise.

Winnipeg Sun:  Stafford aiming for return.  From line rushes to his own words it sure sounds like the veteran winger should be ready to return to the lineup tonight.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets hanging in at season’s quarter-point.  Kenny breaks out his teacher’s grading system for the Jets.

Winnipeg Free Press: Stafford expected to be back in lineup tonight. (Paywall).  It appears that the Moose are gonna be getting some recruits back with #12 set to return to the lineup either tonight or the next game.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets hit the ice for practice after long layoff.  (Paywall).  Having gone almost a month without one the Jets tried to work on some areas that have slipped of late, like special teams.

Sportsnet:  Handing out NHL quarter-season awards.  No surprise that Patrik Laine is frontrunner for Calder in this one and Mark Scheifele gets recognition as a potential MVP.

Illegal Curve: Winnipeg Jets Injury Report.  An update on the players in the infirmary.

Illegal Curve: Winnipeg Jets Practice Report.  It almost reached a month between Jets practices.  Coach Maurice spent quite a bit of time working the power play.  Drew Stafford drew back into the regular line rotation.
