Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news.

Note:  The Jets are now in Boston following the 5-2 loss last night in Philadelphia.  They will hit the ice for a 1 pm practice (yes I uttered the Jets and practice in the same sentence) as they get ready for a Saturday night date with the Bruins in Beantown.

Note II:  Tonight will be the fourth Moose game of the five they play on this road trip.  They went 1-2 on the California leg of the journey and will get a chance to even things out when they play their first ever game in Tucson at 8:05 pm CT.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun:  Subpar goaltending sinks Jets.  Perhaps that first goal against caught Hellebuyck and everyone else off guard as they may have anticipated a penalty against the Flyers but the third goal by Mark Streit is one he definitely wants back.  Ken recaps the game.
