Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news.

Note:  The Jets return from their two-game road trip with three of four points as they dropped a tough OT loss last night when an own goal by Nikolaj Ehlers sunk their chances at a perfect road trip.  The team will take the day off today as they get ready to face the Kings tomorrow afternoon at the MTS Centre.

Note II:  The Moose four game winning streak came to an end last night as they dropped the first game of their five game road trip 3-2 to the Gulls.  San Diego took revenge on Manitoba after being swept out of Winnipeg a few weeks back.  Couple of positives for the Moose as they got Brenden Kichton and Scott Kosmachuk back in the lineup.  As well Dan DeSalvo, newly signed to a PTO, scored (and added an assist) in his season debut, continuing where he left off last season and leaving me wondering how he doesn’t have an AHL deal somewhere.  Manitoba will try to get back on track with a re-match tonight in San Diego with a 7 pm puck drop.

Note III:  Tune into the Illegal Curve Hockey Show as we start off your Saturday with three hours of Winnipeg Jets, Manitoba Moose and NHL hockey talk.  Guests include .
