Note:  We hope you are enjoying a nice Remembrance Day off.  Don’t forget to take some time to remember those that sacrificed so much so others could have life and liberty and so we could enjoy the freedoms we do in this country.

Note II:  Hard on the heels of a Game 15 win (3-2) last night in Arizona the Jets get set to do battle with the Avalanche in Colorado tonight.  Stick with illegalcurve.com for the latest news and on social media including Twitter|Facebook |Instagram for all the pre and post game news.

Note III:  The Moose will also be in action out in California as they put their winning streak on the line against a Gulls team that is looking to avenge being swept out of the MTS Centre a few weeks back.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Coyotes Nation continues to embrace its connection to Jets.  (Paywall).  I think its great that fans in Arizona still feel connected.  Once the Jets returned to Winnipeg the reasons for enmity towards the fans base (if those reasons were even justified in the first place) ceased.

TSN:  Dreger Report – Scheifele a true student of the gameLooks like everyone has decided to pen something about the Jets top centre.

ESPN:  Mark Scheifele’s scoring pace is no fluke.  (Paywall).  No question about it.  I’m actually writing something for this afternoon that will speak further to this point.

Winnipeg Sun:  Five keys to Jets vs. Avalanche.   Ken’s set up article for tonight’s game includes: 1) You again. 2) Hutchinson’s return. 3) Trouba’s return? 4) What’s wrong Semyon? 5) Iginla’s slow start. And the extra bonus is Mark Scheifele vs. Nathan MacKinnon.

Winnipeg Sun:  Road win sees Jets earn victory without their best.  Poppy (no Remembrance Day pun intended) was a bit sloppy last night but leaving with two clean points is all that matters.

Winnipeg Sun:  Centre taking advantage of top-six role with Jets.  Amazing what happens when you play a talented offensive player on a line with similarly talented players.  Petan is certainly taking advantage of his opportunity.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Visiting Jets take a bite out of Coyotes.  (Paywall).  Jason breaks down last night’s game from Arizona.

Arizona Republic:  Coyotes come up short in loss to Jets.  Breaking down the game from the Coyotes perspective via team beat writer Sarah McLellan.

Arizona Republic:  Coyotes impressed by Jets rookie Patrik Laine.  More from the Arizona side as they give their perspective on the Jets rookie.

Sportsnet:  Jets’ top line produces yet again in win over Coyotes.  While Scheifele, Ehlers and Laine all contributed it was a solid overall team win last night.

Global News:  Popular Jets fan celebrates with players after finishing cancer treatmentsReally glad to hear that Alyx has conquered her battle with cancer and it is nice to see that the Jets players have maintained a connection with their young and extremely courageous fan.

Jets 3 Coyotes 2:

Illegal Curve:  Post-game report.  Quick recap of the Jets goals as well as post-game video from Blake Wheeler, Andrew Copp, Connor Hellebuyck and coach Paul Mauriece.

Moose news:

Winnipeg Sun:  Glennie making most of chance with hometown Moose.  He has been very good since getting into the Manitoba lineup.

Illegal Curve:  Moose sign Dan DeSalvo and Kale Kessy to PTOs.  Couple of additions to the roster.  We shall see if they get into the lineup tonight against the Gulls.
