Afternoon Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun:  Auditions continue for Jets tonight vs Flames.  A few spots are available for players who step up and seize the opportunity.

Illegal Curve:  Jets vs. Flames projected lines.  A look at the Jets and Flames projected lines, D pairs & goalies. Includes pre-game audio from Patrik Laine, Joel Armia, Brandon Tanev and Josh Morrissey.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets’ power-play on point in preseason tune-up.  Jets fans are always happy to read an article discussing their team’s success on the power play.

Winnipeg Sun:  Ben Chiarot looking for leg up.   How many players have hired Adam Oates?  Seems like he is on everyone’s speed dial.

The Hockey News: Looking at possible Jacob Trouba trade destinations.  Pretty much a roundup of every team that might be trying to acquire the Jets stud defenceman.

Illegal Curve:  Jets re-assign 17 players.  It was expected the team would make some cuts and sure enough Saturday afternoon they made their first move of training camp.
