Note:  The Jets kick off a two game road trip today in Buffalo as they visit Zach Bogosian and Evander Kane in their new home in Buffalo.  Puck drops at 12 noon.

Note II:  The Moose are coming off a sweep of Stockton and will now face a familiar foe in the Charlotte Checkers tonight and on Monday.

Note III:  In case you missed it, Kyle Connor kept his streak alive last night.  It has now hit 26 straight games as Michigan defeated Notre Dame in the Midwest Regional Semifinal.  They will take on North Dakota tonight in the Midwest Finals.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Increasing puck power bodes well for Lowry.  (Paywall).  He is most effective when he is using that big body of his to help free up some time and space on the ice.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets dial 911 for blue-liner Kichton.  (Paywall).  He is in his third year pro but will be playing his first NHL game.  While the injuries are never a good thing it is giving the Jets brass an opportunity to evaluate their prospects at the NHL level.

Winnipeg Sun:  Former Sabre’s spirits high as Jets shuffle off to Buffalo.  Lots to read in this one as Stafford returns to where it all began for him.
