Note:  Both the Jets and the Moose have the day off today.  Winnipeg will travel out west for a couple of games while Manitoba will return to the city for a few days of practice before they get another game under way.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets come back to dump Avalanche.  It is a rare occurrence when this Winnipeg team is able to overcome a third period deficit and win a hockey game.

Winnipeg Sun:  Byfuglien playing big role in shaping youthful Jets.  His influence in the dressing room is massive and is being felt by the young guns on the squad.

Sportsnet:  Scheifele extends point streak, Jets defeat Avalanche.  Cha-ching is the sound Scheifele’s agent hears every time his client puts another puck in the net, which these days is quite often.

CBC:  Who will show the young Jets the way next season?  Do questions remain as to who will adopt the leadership mantle with this team?
