Winnipeg Free Press:  Is the Jets GM done dealing with so much work yet to be done?  (Paywall).  Will this step backward result in a few steps forward?  Or will the Jets take a few more steps backwards first?  Article includes 1) Younger and cheaper….still? 2) Wanted… 3) Protecting the Tank 4) Finally, would you…

Winnipeg Free Press:  Dano, Jets excited for new opportunity.  (Paywall).  He said the only guy he knows is actually Jan Kostalek who plays for the Moose but doesn’t sound like it will take him long to get known to the guys in the room.  Or the fans, especially if they continue the Columbus tradition of chanting “Marko” “Dano” like Marco Polo.

Winnipeg Sun:  Wheeler ready for the C.  You would be hard pressed to find anyone who think that anyone other than Wheeler should be wearing the letter which signifies the leader on and off the ice.
