Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  High-shooting Jets struggling to light the lamp.  (Paywall).  They didn’t lack quantity but there may have been some missing quality.  Lots of talk on Monday of getting players in front to screen the opposition net minder.  We shall see if they can implement this against the Sharks tonight.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Scheifele back in sick bay, possibly for a week.  (Paywall).  Have to admit that this was not the news I was expecting when the coach took to the podium yesterday.

Winnipeg Sun:  Where was the fire against Sabres?  Paul wonders where the fire was in a game that had the opportunity to really kick off the home stand on the right foot.

Winnipeg Sun:  Perreault OK, Scheifele out a week.  When I saw him buried under the pile in the 3rd period I did not expect the prognosis to be very good.  When coach Maurice said that Perreault was probable for today’s game I was quite surprised.  Fans are likely quite happy with this outcome.
