Note:  Jets have one last practice at the MTS Centre to close out 2015 before they depart for a five game road trip which begins with a New Years Eve game against the Arizona Coyotes.

Note II:  The Manitoba Moose return to practice after their holiday break.  While the Jets are away you will still have plenty of hockey options as the Moose play eight games between December 31st and January 13th.  They hit the ice today at the MTS IcePlex.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Trouba too good to be true for the Jets.  (Paywall).  We saw the player that we had gotten used to seeing for his first couple of seasons in the NHL.  In addition to being physical he chipped in offensively as well last night.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets looking strong at home, but the true test will be on the road.  (Paywall).  They have proven that home cooking is working as they finish 2015 with a 11-5-1 record but it is now time to show that they can also win on the road (6-12-1).

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets elevate game with win over Red Wings.  They took advantage of a tired opponent and continued their dominance against the Eastern Conference.

Winnipeg Sun:  Burmistrov snaps scoreless drought in Jets’ win over Red Wings.  It was pretty clear the sense of relief that #6 was feeling after the game when answering questions about scoring his first goal in 22 games.

CBC:  Jets cooking at home, the challenge of the road awaits.  While the Jets have been good at home Adam takes a look at their road woes which includes a look at: 1) goals 2) offensive production and 3) record vs. Western Conference.

NHL.com:  Trouba’s two goals help Jets clip Red Wings.  The Michigan product was spectacular last night as he and fellow Michigan born Connor Hellebuyck helped to dispose of the team they grew up watching.
