Note: No rest for the weary as the Jets following a wacky 6-4 win in the MTS Centre last night flew from Winnipeg to Chicago so they could get ready to face the Blackhawks for the second time in less than a week in a back-to-back.
Winnipeg Free Press: Points galore in Jets 6-4 win over Blue Jackets. (Paywall). Once again the Jets 2nd line busted out for a big night as the trio of Perreault (1 goal & 3 assists) Scheifele (1 goal & 1 assist) and Stafford (1 goal & 2 assists) all helped the Jets get their third straight win at home.
Winnipeg Sun: Jets rip Blue Jackets. When it was 3-0 for Winnipeg it actually felt like the final score might be 10+ goals for Winnipeg.
CBC: Why not ride Hellebuyck the rest of the month? Death of the rotation? A lot less controversial when you don’t have a set number one goalie. The point Adam makes is that perhaps it is time for the Jets to ride the hot goalie.
Globe and Mail: Perreault has four points to lead Winnipeg Jets past Columbus. Perreault was fantastic last night and now has nine points in his last seven games (three goals, six assists).
Columbus Dispatch: Too little, too late. Read the game from a Blue Jackets beat writer’s perspective.
Sportsnet: Jets fans troll John Tortorella with cutout. Fans at the MTS Centre get lots of love from outside Manitoba for their creativity although not sure why this recycled material merited a mention.
