Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets moving toward faster pace while continuing dedication to defence.  (Paywall).  Coach Maurice has continued to stress defence but clearly has to adjust based on the players he has on his squad this year.

Winnipeg Free Press:  ‘It’s terrible. It’s a terrible part of hockey,’ Byfuglien criticizes 3-on-3.  (Paywall).  Say what you will about big #33 he certainly isn’t afraid to share his opinion.

Winnipeg Sun:  Rivalry renewed.  Friendly Manitoba vs. Minnesota Nice.  I love the fact that these two nice fan bases have a civil disdain for the opposing team.
