Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets Notebook (Paywall).  Can’t really expect the Jets players to say anything else about welcoming Burmistrov back into the fold.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets practice the 3-on-3 overtime format (Paywall).  Players like Blake Wheeler are already looking forward to the prospect of all that open ice.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Scheifele comes back to training camp faster, stronger (Paywall).  He came to his first camp weighing in around 175 lbs and has now hit 207 lbs.  In the rough and tumble Western Conference those extra lbs should hold him in good stead.
