Note:  Today is the final day of Jets Development Camp at the IcePlex.  Their will be a scrimmage at 10:30 am.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Poolman happiest on blueline.  He showed some versatility playing outside of his preferred spot but like anyone is happiest when he is playing his natural position.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Morrissey concentrates on getting faster, avoiding hits.  The young D man sure sounds like he used last season to continue to work on his growth/development.

Winnipeg Sun:  C.J. Franklin is a late bloomer who has taken big strides since being drafted by Jets.  Appears the left winger is just starting to come into his own.

Winnipeg Sun:  Eric Comrie eager to build on his first taste of pro experience.  Many fail to see the importance of the AHL experience in helping to develop the next generation of NHL players.  The experience should work wonders for a player like Comrie who is ready to take that next step in his development.

Winnipeg Sun:  Morrissey: Bulking up was mistake.  When one of your top weapons is speed bulking up can be somewhat of a problem.
