Winnipeg Free Press:  Having Jets and Moose will change city’s entertainment landscape.  The restaurants and hotels in this city will benefit nicely.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Manitoba Moose are back in Winnipeg.  Free Press hockey writers Tim Campbell and Ed Tait discuss the impact of the return of the AHL’s Manitoba Moose to Winnipeg – what is means for the city of Winnipeg and for developing the next Winnipeg Jets players.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Rising star introduced as VP of Moose operations.  Quite the move for the relatively young lawyer who clearly has the support of Mark Chipman.

Winnipeg Sun:  It’s full steam ahead for reborn Manitoba Moose franchise.  The organization is ready to go as they relaunch the second version of the Moose (Manitoba style) franchise.

Sportsnet:  Manitoba Moose return to AHL with new look.  The Moose are loose with even Mick E. Moose pulling double duty.

Illegal Curve:  Manitoba Moose are introduced as Winnipeg Jets new AHL farm team.  I was down at the MTS Centre yesterday morning and covered the introduction of the new/old team with the modified logo.  The post contains pictures from the day as well as plenty of audio including the formal comments from Scott Brown, Kevin Cheveldayoff, Mark Chipmman and Dan Hursh.  As well as scrum audio from Kevin Cheveldayoff, Mark Chipman, JC Lipon and Scott Kosmachuk.

Illegal Curve:  Andrew Ladd named as a finalist for Mark Messier Leadership Award.  The Jets captain joins Getzlaf and Toews in the running for the award.

Chipman discusses the decisions behind the name and ticket pricing, the team behind bringing the franchise back to Manitoba, and the possible challenges of having an AHL and NHL team under the same roof.

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  Hustler & Lawless.  Dennis Beyak joined the show from the 2015 IIHF World Hockey Championship, in Ostrava, Czech Republic. Beyak says the USA has been a surprise in Group B, a combination of good coaching, and solid netminding from Connor Hellebuyck.
