Note: The Jets have a day off today as they try and regroup from their second straight late 3rd period collapse.  Similar to the loss on Sunday against the Blackhawks the Jets were in it until a breakdown led to a Chris Kreider breakway and a 3-2 final.  They will be back on the ice tomorrow at the MTS Centre at 11:00 AM.

Winnipeg Sun:  Just five (season-defining) games left for the Jets.  Ken looks ahead at the last five games on the Jets schedule.

Winnipeg Sun: Byfuglien faces suspension.  Ken offers up his thoughts on the actions on big #33 and what possible repercussions Byfuglien may face.

TSN:  Did Byfuglien commit a crime?  Sometimes one forgets the game aspect when real life principals are brought into the arena.

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  Hustler & Lawless.  Hockey insider Darren Dreger joins Hustler & Lawless to discuss the Dustin Byfuglien hit on JT Miller and subsequently announced hearing with NHL Player Safety. Dreger says Player Safety won’t consider the Winnipeg Jets’ current playoff push, but will take Byfuglien’s clean record into account when making their decision.

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  The Rona Roundtable.  Shane Hnidy looks back on the Jets/Rangers game and discuses Dustin Byfuglien’s possible suspension.

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  The Big Show.  Gary Lawless joined the Big Show to give the latest update on what’s being heard around the NHL in regards to the Dustin Byfuglien cross-check to Rangers forward J.T. Miller, and discusses why a potential suspension should be centered on intent and not whether an injury resulted.

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  The Big Show.  J.P. Vigier feels that while worthy of a penalty, Byfuglien should not receive a suspension for the hit.

TSN 1050 Toronto:  Macko and Cauz.  Jets play-by-play announcer Dennis Beyak joins Macko and Gareth to discuss Dustin Byfuglien’s cross check on J.T Miller as well as what it will take for the Jets to make the post-season.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Violent, deliberate’ crosscheck could cost Byfuglien.  While Jets coach Paul Maurice likes his players to play aggressively he will have to be a little concerned by the lack of discipline shown by #33 on the hit.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Little’s return not enough to spark Winnipeg’s offence.  He got a quick shot and cheer from the home crowd to start the game but there was a bit of rust for #18 who hadn’t played since a game against the Senators on March 4th.  Ed also touches on Byfuglien and a few notes.
