Winnipeg Sun:  Visitors have had the edge.  Ken’s report from the road will help get you read for tonight’s action.

CBC:  Frustration mounts as goal-scoring vanishes for Jets.  Jeff writes about the lack of scoring, coupled with the missed opportunities and Scheifele’s posts.

Illegal Curve:  Coach Maurice scrum from PNC Arena (audio).  On Byfgulien/Bogosian.  Might we see Hutchinson in near future?  Like the chances they got last night?   On Price’s ability to handle the puck behind the net.  On what the Hurricanes are doing better than last time they saw them?  Stall on the left wing, did he ever have him in that spot when he coached them?  Does that change the way he focuses on Canes?  Getting offensive chances with the way they are playing defence.  Getting Peluso/Halischuk/Pardy back in the lineup.

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  The Big Show (audio).  After the Jets streak of eight straight games with a point ended in Montreal, the focus shifts to their 29th ranked offence which is producing 1.75 goals per game. Paul Edmonds, says the chances are there for the Jets to rack up the scoring, they just need to start burying their opportunities.

Hurricanes news:

News and Observer:  Canes move Eric Staal to left wing.  At centre or on the wing he will be plenty dangerous at any position.  Be sure to read Chip’s column for all the latest Carolina news.
