Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Latest Jets news.

Jets news:

Ottawa Sun:  Bruce Garrioch’s Sunday Column.  In today’s installment he mentions the Jets as one team among many who are looking for a defenceman.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets down Senators in shootout.  Not quite the classic that the Thursday night game against Pittsburgh was but as I said last night, if you’re a Jets fans all that matters is that your team is banking two points early on in the season.

CBC:  Jets outlast Sens in shootout. Gotta love that Perreault used a stick that had a crack in the shaft for the winning goal.

TSN:  The Reporters (video).  The Jets and Senators aren’t usually in the spotlight when it comes to the Canadian teams, but the Reporters discuss why their recent play should be earning some much deserved attention.

TSN 1200:  Pre-game show.  While it was part of the pre-game show, TSN hockey insider Bob McKenzie joined the guys to talk about why Ottawa & Winnipeg are on hot streaks right now.
