Note:  We are now at day 16 of training camp and the Jets take on the Flames in the final pre-season game tonight.  Jets pre-game skate  is at 10:30 AM at the MTS Centre.  Practice is closed to the public.   We will have the projected lines on site following practice.  Be sure to stick to @illegalcurve for all the latest news.

Winnipeg Sun:  Coach Paul Maurice cracks the whip as camp winds downFor those who thought the worst was over as we entered the final weekend of training camp, the Jets bench boss disabused his troops of that notion on Friday putting them through a very difficult practice.

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  Rona Roundtable (audio).  Shane Hnidy says Eric Tangradi was put on waivers because he didn’t perform well enough last year with the Jets and this season in training camp. This transaction would open up a roster spot for a players like Adam Lowry and Matt Halischuk who looked good so far.

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  The Big Show (audio).  Voice of the Jets Dennis Beyak stops by with a recap of the Jets pre-season loss to Calgary, who could be on the way out before the regular season, as well as who needs to step up for Winnipeg to challenge in the Western conference.
