Winnipeg Jets loan goalie prospect Domenic DiVincentiis to the Moose

Last Sunday the Moose returned from a successful road trip and Jets goalie prospect Domenic DiVincentiis got the news he was heading up to the NHL for the first time during the regular season.

There was uncertainty as to whether or not he’d be able to make his first NHL start with some speculating it could have been last night but MVP Connor Hellebuyck was ready to return after his knee procedure which sidelined him for three weeks.

With that move yesterday it meant the Jets needed to make another corresponding move to ensure they were roster compliant which meant they sent their prospect goalie back to Manitoba.

While he didn’t get into a game DiVincentiis was able to backup in a couple and he also spent six days with the NHL club of Winnipeg taking shots from pros at the highest level, studying with goalie coach Wade Flaherty and more.
