Winnipeg Jets loan Dominic Toninato to the Moose

Captain Dominic Toninato was recalled from the Moose for the first time this season back on December 30th.

The Minnesotan played four games for the Jets during his recall which including the 100th wearing a Winnipeg uniform.

It’s an interesting move as the Jets only had him as the extra forward given the news about Winnipeg captain Adam Lowry being out week to week with an injury he suffered on Monday in Utah.

Seems likely they’ll recall someone else from Manitoba tomorrow ahead of their re-match with Utah in Winnipeg although with the Moose in town there isn’t an urgency to do so.
