The Jets suffered a bad defeat at the hands of the Hockey Club of Utah in Salt Lake City on Monday but the bigger loss was that captain Adam Lowry only ended up playing in the 1st period and not returning after the 1st intermission.
The assumption was he was injured early in the game on this play.
Here was the play from the 1st period where Jets captain Adam Lowry slid into the boards.
He did play after this happened.
No word if this is what caused him to miss the middle frame. #NHLJets pic.twitter.com/BEXtqFIr6E

Winnipeg didn’t practice on Tuesday so the earliest update would come today in Denver where they prepare to face Colorado this evening. Lowry wasn’t on the ice as reported by the media folk inside Ball Arena.
After skate concluded head coach Scott Arniel was asked for an update. According to Murat Ates the news isn’t good:
“Adam Lowry is out “week to week” with an upper body injury, suffered in the first period against Utah.”
That’s tough news for the team. Lowry was on pace for an 18G 25A season which would both have been career highs for the 2011 3rd rounder of Winnipeg.
