Winnipeg Jets loan Danny Zhilkin and Isaak Phillips to the Manitoba Moose

It has been just a shade over two weeks since the Jets recalled prospect Danny Zhilkin (2022 3rd) who was able to make his NHL debut against the Oilers on January 8th. He played three more games with the last one coming on January 13th against the Islanders.

He got above 10 minutes in just one of the four contests. Since the game against New York he has been a healthy scratch for the last five games.

Additionally with a trio of injured defencemen it gave Isaak Phillips his first chance to be recalled by Winnipeg and play in two games for the Jets.

With the Moose playing two games this weekend against the AHL-leading Griffins it’s a good opportunity to get Zhilkin and Phillips into some games with Manitoba.
