Winnipeg Jets head coach Rick Bowness will not be on the road trip

After he wasn’t feeling well and ultimately didn’t coach in the game on Monday night against the Blues, instead choosing to rest, the status of Jets head coach Rick Bowness has been up in the air.  He wasn’t on the ice for practice today ahead of the team’s trip to California where they will face the Kings tomorrow night in the first of three road games.

Following the practice, as reported by Scott Billeck of the Winnipeg Sun, the bench boss of the Jets will not be making the road trip as he continues to rest up following a bout of covid he had last week.
