Winnipeg Jets have reassigned goalies Oskari Salminen & Arvid Holm to the Moose

What goes up must come down. With the Jets season ending last night they have now returned the pair of Moose goalies that they have had with them for the last little while. Netminder Oskari Salminen was with them longer as he’s been the third goalie in playoffs while Arvid Holm was a recent recall when David Rittich was dealing with a lower-body injury (swollen ankle).

Holm backed up Hellebuyck the last two playoff games for Winnipeg.

With the Jets back in Manitoba and the Moose set to play their first playoff game tonight, Winnipeg  has returned the pair of goalies to their AHL affiliate.

I would still expect Evan Cormier to get the start in game 1 for the Moose. Puck drop is at 7 pm.

Even though he was eligible to be assigned no Axel Jonsson-Fjällby it would appear. It’s a shame as he had three goals and one assist in four games with Manitoba back in February and could have provided some additional scoring for the Moose.
